The design of a convective drying cycle could be challenging because its thermodynamic performance depends on wide range operating parameters. Further, the initial product properties and environmental conditions fluctuate during production, affecting final quality, impact, energy usage. An off-design analysis distinguishes effects different parameters defining setup with best more stable performance. This study analyzes reference scenario configured as an existing system three upgrades to recover supplied avoid heat air dumping in atmosphere.
